Initial Consultation
In-home Consult. During this visit, we will discuss your medical history and baby's feedings thus far. If you are nursing, we will do a weighted feed to see how much milk baby is transferring. This visit will include text support for the week following. You will also receive a care plan after this visit. A follow up visit may be recommended.
Prenatal Breastfeeding Consult
In this session, we will prepare you for your upcoming breastfeeding journey! We can help you choose the right breast pump, help you plan for initiating breastfeeding after delivery, and get you started on the right track to help you succeed in your feeding goals, no matter what they are.
Bottle Refusal Consults
In this session, we will collaborate to help your baby learn to take a bottle We can address various challenges such as difficulty sealing their mouth around the bottle, getting their tongue out, struggling to cup their tongue around the nipple, fussiness during bottle feeding, and other related concerns. This visit is suitable for all babies, whether they are breastfed or formula-fed. Please keep in mind that we will focus exclusively on bottle issues during this session; any concerns related to latching or nursing will need to be scheduled separately to allow ample time a thorough assessment and care plan. Please know, we cannot make any guarantees that you baby will take a bottle. Sometimes a referral to a Speech Language Pathologist may be recommended.
Bottle refusal visits are intended for babies 6 months and younger, with older babies considered on a case-by-case basis. Please contact us before scheduling for an older baby to confirm we are the right fit for your needs.

How can I start working with you?
All you need to do is select a visit type and wait for a confirmation email! You will then be emailed an intake form. Please ensure you complete these at least one day prior to your scheduled appointment. Travel fees may apply.
How should I prepare for my initial consultation?
There is no need to do anything different! We will work with you in your environment to see how feeding currently looks in your home.
What is your Non-Covered Services policy?
We require a travel fee for services rendered off of Schofield Barracks/ Wheeler. This rate will depend on the round trip mileage from Schofield to your home. This fee is not covered by insurance and will be collected via card on file.
